Description
The Eiffel Tower is celebrating its 120 year anniversary with an
innovative light display every night from October 22nd to December 31st
at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm and 11pm.
For the first time, relying on state-of-the-art LED spotlights, the
Trocadero facade of the Eiffel Tower will light up in color
with a moving light show.
The light show follows immediately after the usual 5 minutes sparkling
white lights and will last another 12 minutes. The
anniversary show starts with a dynamic light sequence evoking the
extraordinary construction of the Tower. Next a shower of
light, revolving from level to level, rhythmic, color
blending…a splendid tribute to the Eiffel Tower and its majestic
structure.
During the light show, the other facades of the monument will
contribute an element to the choreography. Also, images will be
projected onto the ground below.
