Description
This exhibition brings together nearly 400 works for an exceptional
view of surrealist photography.
A selection of the finest proofs of Man Ray, Hans
Bellmer, Claude Cahun, Raoul Ubac, Jacques-Andre Boiffard, Maurice
Tabard will be shown alongside previously unseen footage, revealing the
many surrealists uses of photography in journals, ads,
collections of images, pictures from photo booths, group
photography and more ...
The event shows collages by renowned artists such as Paul
Eluard, André Breton, Antonin Artaud and Georges Hugnet, games
photographers Leo Malet and Victor Brauner and highlights personalities
like those of Artur Harfaux or Benjamin Fondane.
Over twenty years after "Explosante fixed", the exhibition of Rosalind

the use of photography and moving image by the surrealists.
The exhibition also offers a series of films and short films made
by Luis Buñuel, Man Ray and Germaine Dulac.
